We’ve signed off a new highly efficient timber frame private dwelling that achieves ‘Passivhaus’ regulations through the use of high levels of insulation, a ground source heat pump in combination with a whole house heat recovery system as well as Solar Hot Water & P.V. Panels.

The final air-test for the property achieved a test performance of 0.35, which results in an average annual running cost for the property at less than £1 per day.

The project utilized high levels of insulation, a P.V. solar array (Photovoltaic), ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) & an MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system to reach near Passivhaus levels upon completion.

This development has a solar P.V. array & a highly efficient log burner providing the heat and energy to run this off-grid dwelling.


10-18 PENCAEMAWR, Penegoes

The latest addition to a local 18 dwelling site currently being developed, this project is heated by an Air Source Heat system. Impressively low heat-loss u-value's and renewable technologies make this new dwelling a highly efficient construction. A feature balcony and a double height space provide a light and airy space for the family.
