The barn was in a state of considerable disrepair however was converted to provide a comfortable off-grid development powered by renewable technologies.

This two-phased project involved the conversion of a stone outbuilding and subsequent redevelopment and extension to the house. Considerable landscaping was also complete to conclude the works.
Beudy Banc
This barn is self-sufficient. There is no grid connection and all the electricity needs are provided by PV panels. The south facing windows provide solar thermal gain. The development is believed to be the first zero carbon dwelling in Wales and the first barn to reach zero carbon status.
